Hawker School is a contemporary design with large open plan units, withdrawal spaces, 'wet' areas and media rooms. All teaching spaces have access to the wireless network and interactive white boards. Our preschool is located in a purpose built and separately fenced area beside the main building.
The administration, executive offices and K-6 classrooms are located in the main school building on Erldunda Circuit.
Our library is the heart of the school providing students with easy access to the facilities. Parents are also able to borrow from our resource centre.

The school hall is used for drama, music, games, assemblies and performances. Our multipurpose area is situated outside the canteen and is also used for before and after school care.
Our school grounds are spacious and provide a variety of areas for students to play. Our P&C has contributed greatly to the outdoor environment for the benefit of all of our students.

P&C successfully installed a full size multi purpose sport court.

Outdoor Learning Space
The school also installed an outdoor learning space in the playground after winning a 'My School Bonus' competition from 2CC. The new space includes a circle of large rocks, surrounded by ornamental pear trees. This inspiring outdoor learning space will continue to grow and develop and has already become a highly sought after area for play and instruction.
Slides on the Hill
With the support from the P&C and in partnership with the Education Directorate a major project took place on the hill. Two bespoke slides were installed with rock stairs complemented by natural landscaping. The slides have been a wonderful addition to the playground.
Undercover Courtyard
We have recently added an undercover courtyard which is an extension space for learning. The open plan classrooms have quiet rooms which open out onto this wonderful learning space. Complete with another scenic mural from Stylized Impact.
